JEWELRY COLLECTION
The students designed a jewelry collection of between 3 and 5 pieces, which were manufactured using the techniques seen in the semester: wax modeling, laminated wax, metal cutwork or 3D modeling.
The design process is documented in a book where the concept, inspiration mood boards, manufacturing process and studio photographs are presented.
MUNICIONES
Juan Manuel Mendoza Coronel
Collection conform by three rings and one cuff inspired by the different munitions that were used by the weapons across our history. Starting from the arrow to the bullet. Since the revolver to the misil. Representing the fact that these instruments merge from our hands and not always end in an ethical end.
Elaborated with a technique of 3D print with castable wax and cast in silver 925 with a polish finish.
CORAZONES DE ZAFIRO
Guillermo Miranda Roldán
Sapphire Hearts is a collection inspired by love and the meaning of relationships as they grow, mature and endure. From the perspective of the CN TV show, "Steven Universe."
The pieces were designed in 3D, printed in wax and finally cast in 925 silver. The finish is polished, with oxide and 72 hand-mounted sapphires.
CACTÁCEA COLLECTION
Paulina Reynoso Fuentes
A collection of three rings inspired by Cactaceae with the intention of celebrating life. The life, like this plant, is unique and different, that despite adversities it has been shown that it has the power to overcome, in order to continue advancing and enjoying.
The pieces were modeled in 3D and printed in wax to later be cast in 925 silver, its finish is a bright polish.
SIEG RING
Adriana Verónica Arciniega Pérez
Sieg is inspired by modern architecture with the letter V that can be seen in different architectural projects. Lines are taken and reinterpreted to create a bold, simple and elegant play on the letter. It is a hand carved piece in blue wax, cast in 925 silver and finally with a polished finish.
