The brief consisted in designing a space divider inspired by a natural element that incorporates the compositional elements (module, repetition and rhythm) and that complements its function with a simple mechanism.

Avia is a space divider inspired in nature, where bird’s feathers are the main pieces. This design follows the concepts of pattern, rhythm, and repetition, which are represented in the color and the composition of the latter.
Made of anodized aluminum, each piece has an angle of 55o which transmits character, dynamism, and at the same time it creates a mechanism similar to an accordion. The system intertwines the pieces generating a sense of fluidity and openness when extended, making Avia an adaptable divider that can coexist in any space.
