MATERIAL EXPERIMENTATION SAMPLER
The project consisted of 3 parts. The first involved creating a database with suppliers, techniques, processes, and finishes of a specific material. In the second stage, students experimented with and understood the properties and limitations of the material, to ultimately build a sampler box that compiled the entire process.
GLASS SAMPLER

Catalog of Glass Compiling Finishes and Suppliers for Two Different Categories, Stained Glass and Borosilicate Blown Glass.
The stained glass pieces are hand-painted and have special adhesive films. On the other hand, the borosilicate pieces offer a wide variety of finishes, including tinted glass, counturex, among other refined techniques.
WOOD SAMPLER

Variety of woods and finishes available for selection in the design process.
RESIN SAMPLER

Epoxy resin and glass sample display with satin and translucent finishes:
First level: Palette of translucent and satin blues and grays.
Second level: Palette of purples with a pearlescent finish, marbled green finish, and translucent yellow.
CERAMIC SAMPLER

Collection of finishes that can be applied to objects made with ceramics or stones. These pieces are made clay from Oaxaca and oxide enamels.
